Allu Cinemas Opens in Hyderabad with India’s Largest Dolby Cinema Screen

Hyderabad’s cinema experience has been significantly upgraded with the launch of Allu Cinemas in Kokapet. The multiplex was officially inaugurated on March 12, 2026, by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

The multiplex houses four screens, with the highlight being a premium Dolby Cinema auditorium. The theatre features a massive 75-foot-wide wall-to-wall screen, which is currently considered the largest Dolby Cinema screen in India and reportedly the second largest in the world.

The screen integrates Dolby Vision projection technology with Dolby Atmos sound, delivering vibrant visuals and multidimensional audio to create a highly immersive cinematic experience.

Another key highlight of Allu Cinemas is its All Flat (1.85/1.9:1) aspect ratio design, making it the only multiplex in India built with this format across its screens.

One of the screens is equipped with Dual Dolby Vision RGB Pure Laser Projection, providing Dolby Wide Color Gamut 1.0 for enhanced brightness, contrast and highly accurate color reproduction.

The remaining three screens feature All Flat 4K Laser projection combined with Dolby Atmos sound systems, designed to deliver a premium audio-visual experience for audiences.

The auditorium also includes premium recliner seating, a curved stadium-style layout and unobstructed sightlines, ensuring comfort and an immersive viewing environment for moviegoers.

With advanced cinema technology and premium infrastructure, Allu Cinemas is expected to become one of the most prominent entertainment destinations in Hyderabad.
